Common Questions
What is the enrollment process for the Community Youth Development Program?
Enrollment begins with a complimentary trial session. After the trial, parents receive a QR-code survey to provide feedback. Once we review your request and payment, we confirm your spot in the next available session window.
How are the training sessions structured and how long do they last?
Each session is a 1-hour Play-Practice-Play experience led by GSSA Coaches. We focus on intelligent foundation, disciplined development, and confident execution through structured drills and real-time application.
What equipment do I need to bring to the training sessions?
Players should bring a soccer ball, proper soccer shoes, shin guards, and a water bottle. We provide all training gear and match equipment. We recommend bringing a small towel for post-training.
Is the program affiliated with U.S. Soccer or official US Soccer programs?
While our training incorporates principles informed by U.S. Soccer coach education, GSSA is an independent community-focused academy. We are not an official U.S. Soccer program or affiliated with any national governing body.
OFFICIAL POLICIES
SAFETY & MEDICAL
Every session is conducted in a safe, professional environment. We require a signed medical release form and a current physical examination for all players to ensure a risk-free training experience.
CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULE
Due to the small group size of 8 players, we operate on a strict no-show policy. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of any changes to your registration to avoid forfeiting your session.
WEATHER & CANCELLATION
Training sessions will be canceled if weather conditions are unsafe for play. We will provide a full refund for any sessions canceled due to weather, and you will be notified via email or text.
